Ladysmith Maritime Heritage Day, on Saturday June 8th, is a day just for maritimers or wooden boat enthusiasts! The festival includes marine heritage vessel displays, shows, tours of the harbour, marine heritage and cultural centre, and waterfront musuem, plus plenty of food and lively music.
Celebrate Ladysmith with the "Be a Tourist in Your Hometown" weekend on June 15th & 16th! Events include guided tours, specials, and discounts on activities in the town and surrounding area. Great for locals and tourists alike!
Celebrate local food at the weekly Ladysmith Make it, Bake it, Grow it Farmers Market, on Tuesdays from 3 to 7pm throughout the summer. The market is held on First Avenue between Buller Street and French Street.
The Waterfront Art Gallery presents two art shows during the month of June - a show by gallery anv VIU students (June 1st to 16th) and the Cowichan Valley Fine Arts Show (June 18th to 30th).
