Ladysmith has a great variety of leisure services, programs and facilities available to meet the needs of local residents and visitors alike.

These include approximately 90 hectares of parks and open space including Transfer Beach Park right in the heart of town, a community centre with a fantastic pool, a community hall and a Senior's centre.

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture also maintains a large network of hiking and walking trails that allows visitors and residents easy access to the many natural areas in the community.
